e.l.f. = l.o.v.e.!
I like to think of myself as one of the biggest bargain shoppers I know. I am always looking for a deal, never pay full price for anything, and love to shop! I also love makeup. I wear makeup every day of my life, even if it’s just mascara and lip gloss! I like to experiment with color on my eyes, and I found the perfect website to help me with all my make up desires. Usually I use MAC cosmetics, but I am definately willing to try new things.
e.l.f. is a cosmetics company made just for girls like me. Everything is priced extremely well, I’m talking a dollar a pop in most cases! I have to admit, I was very suspicious of the quality of product you would receive for a dollar. I mean, we’ve all seen the dried up sad makeup on the aisle in the dollar store. I for one would never put that stuff on my face.
However, when this stuff came, I was completely surprised. The packaging was sleek, the brushes were high quality, and I am in love! I was scared to order all the stuff I wanted the first time, because I had no idea what I would get. I have to let you know that I have since placed another order, this time with all the colors I want. They even sent me a free lip gloss, which I loved.
I wore the products I purchased yesterday, and at the end of the day, my colors still popped like I just put them on. For me, longevity is the ultimate test. Most drugstore makeup doesn’t seem to last like the more expensive brands, so you use more. I didn’t need to touch up all day. I am officially an e.l.f. girl

I don’t wear make up everyday, but I do like sprucing myself up when I need that little extra boost of prettiness. I’ll definitely check out this site. Make up on the low is a rarity…

Bella, ELF was actually bought by Nordstroms so they have to sell all of the products that are labelled ELF…so get it while it last…I racked up about 2 months ago!

Alix, you’re so right. My first order was $18, and I’ve spent more than that for my lip brush from MAC (it was $19)!
Davi, that’s actually an internet myth. Nordstrom released a statment regarding this, which can be found here: http://about.nordstrom.com/help/our-policies/fraud-alert.asp The press release is dated 6/18/08. They have never been affiliated with Nordstroms, and are their own independent company. Their products have always been offered at the same prices, and they are not in danger of going under
Michelle, nice to see you! I really like it too, the custom compact is great!

Thanks for the tip, Bella. I’m going to check this place out…I’m a grad student now, so MAC is out of my league.
