I still feel 27
This past weekend I had a birthday and turned 28 years old! My Moody made sure it was very special for me. She got me a beautiful birthday cake from my favorite bakery, Denise’s Delicacies. If you know anyone from Philly, they can tell you about the legendary buttercream icing from Denise’s! That place is definately top of the line, and black owned to boot (you know I LOVE that part!).

Along with the cake came balloons, and of course, my gift! She got me the iPod Touch I had been pining for! I was ecstatic and beyond words when I saw it. She got me the 16GB, 2nd generation one. The girl went all out and I was sooo happy to receive it. She even had it wrapped!

Now that I finally have the iPod Touch, I feel complete..LOL. She does need some outfits protective covers, and so the obsessive shopping and collecting of items shall resume (because one is never enough!)

That evening, Moody also took me out to eat, then over to my Mom’s house to chill for a bit with my Mom and sister. The next day, we planned to go to the Philadelphia Zoo because it was Gay Day, but that didn’t quite work out. I had hair to do that morning and finished up too late. Instead, we went to Atlantic City, NJ (AC) to walk the boardwalk, do a little shopping, and see the Water show they have there. AC is a short drive from Philly (just over an hour), and is a popular weekend destination for Philadelphians, especially in the summer. The weather was beautiful Saturday, so we just went for it!
Finally, to end the perfect B’day weekend, Moody took me to brunch at Sisters (like, the only lesbian bar in Philly). Sadly, I wasn’t impressed with the ambiance or the food. It was very blase. The place was EMPTY! There were like 3 other people there! Moody tried to warn me, but I had my heart set on going there. I enjoyed my time spent with Moody, but I probably won’t go there again.
Overall, I had a perfect Birthday weekend. It couldn’t have been better.

Thanks! It really is amazing. I had no idea it could do so many things! I even put a Skype app on it and I can make phone calls on it using the wireless connection.

Happy Birthday!
I am jealous, can’t remember 28, much less whether
I got that delicious looking cake!
Again, HB, many more.
